Chance Maritime Technologies partnered with the Center for Ocean Mapping and Innovative Technologies (COMIT) at the University of South Florida (USF) to collect crowdsourced bathymetry data. The data collected is used to better understand the seafloor, especially in areas which may not be mapped often. Bathymetric data is published publicly to the International Hydrographic Office (IHO) database for researchers to access.
