It’s been a massive year for us, accumulating a whopping 3,000 #unmanned operational hours from the Gulf of America, across the east coast, and into the Great Lakes!

We started the year off the coast of Florida working with COMIT | Center for Ocean Mapping and Innovative Technologies to collect important backscatter data with the Chance LR30 [1] and with Woolpert to map far offshore the emerald coast for the Florida Seafloor Mapping Initiative with the Chance MC29 [2].

Then, we went to Alpena, MI to participate with NAVSEA Warfare Centers (NSWC/NUWC) Crane in Silent Swarm 2025, where we demonstrated an impressive 1,200 lb and 6 kW capacity for modular payloads on the Chance MC40 in Thunder Bay on Lake Huron. [3]

Back in the Gulf, we conducted archeological & geophysical surveys with the Chance LR30, collecting sidescan, sub-bottom, bathymetry, and magnetometer data in a single pass with Fenstermaker.

Then the Chance LR30 made its way up to Lake Erie to map an area not surveyed since 1950 off of City of Erie PA, completing over 1,200 linear nautical miles of survey with the masterful team at the Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping / NOAA-UNH Joint Hydrographic Center, #OECI, using the brand new Voxometer from R2Sonic for its first production survey and first #uncrewed survey. NOAA Ocean Exploration

And right now, we’re 180 nautical miles offshore in the Gulf of America, operating continuously for over 30 days at sea without a mothership or crew.

Thank you to our partners, customers, and our crew for making this such a successful year, we can’t wait to unlock the secrets of the ocean with you all in 2026!
